Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Peer Support Worker, BHHP. The successful candidate will provide valuable support to individuals with mental health conditions, helping them navigate their journey towards recovery.
About the Role
The Peer Support Worker will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care and support to our clients. This includes conducting assessments, developing care plans, and providing education and training to clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with the treatment team
- Provide education and training to clients and their families on mental health management and self-care strategies
- Develop and implement programs to promote client engagement and participation in their own care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A qualification in peer support or a related field
- Experience working with individuals with mental health conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
What We Offer
In return for your expertise and passion, we offer a competitive salary package, including:
- $70,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience
