Role Overview

The International Engagement and Foreign Military Sales Branch is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of FMS Practitioner.

This exciting position requires the successful applicant to have a strong understanding of capability acquisition and sustainment, as well as experience in managing multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will be able to analyse and interpret legislation and policies, providing advice and services for complex activities.

In this fast-paced environment, you will lead FMS business assurance, including coordination of Quarterly Performance Reviews. You will also be responsible for establishing competency frameworks for FMS practitioners, reviewing needs analysis and delivering enhanced training for Australian officials.

The team consists of three Directorates - International Engagement, Foreign Sourcing and Alliance Sustainment Support. Our main responsibilities include building Australia's cooperation with international acquisition and sustainment partners, optimising the FMS process flow across the capability lifecycle, and professionalising the foreign sourcing capability.
