A leading commercial fit out company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a state-of-the-art cinema fit out in Sydney. With a proven track record of managing high-profile projects, you will lead a talented team to ensure the successful completion of this iconic project.

This $20m turnover business specialises in delivering premium fit outs for cinemas, hospitality venues, and gyms across Sydney. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, they have built a reputation for delivering exceptional results and fostering a positive work environment.

The Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinating with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
  • Monitoring project progress and adapting to changing circumstances to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Managing budgets effectively, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and maintaining a positive cash flow.
  • Leading site meetings, providing regular updates to stakeholders, and resolving any issues or delays efficiently.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience as a Fit Out Project Manager, preferably with experience in the cinema industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Australian working rights and a valid driver's license.
