Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Digital Solutions Account Manager to join our Asia Pacific Sales and Business Development team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and growing our Digital Solutions Discipline throughout key account management in Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities- Manage existing sales and accounts within WA
- Contribute to Woolpert's overall business plan for Asia Pacific, including development of sales and account plans for Digital Solutions clients
- Identify leads and drive sales to support growth
- Apply technical knowledge and account management skills to achieve sales targets and client business objectives
- Develop new business based on existing contacts and accounts, as well as proactive and reactive lead and opportunity nurturing
- Work with Project Managers to identify, address, and resolve project issues impacting client goals, objectives, and/or client satisfaction
- Collaborate with Woolpert Mapping and Survey Disciplines to identify cross-selling opportunities
- Travel to Woolpert offices, client sites, and attendance/participation at local conferences, seminars, and trade shows to continue to grow Woolpert's client base and strengthen its presence in the market
You are a professional within the GIS/Geospatial industry, with a strong understanding of GIS and a passion for working with clients to develop solutions that deliver long-term value for both them and Woolpert. You are a creative thinker who will draw on Woolpert's suite of offerings to design innovative solutions to client problems.
- Previous experience in at least one of the following areas: GIS, Esri, Geocortex/VertiGIS, Hosted and Managed Software, Remote Sensing, GIS Analysis
- Sound knowledge of at least two vertical markets in Australia, e.g. Energy, Government, Renewables, Environmental Management, Architectural/Design Development, Town Planning, Utilities, Heritage, Resources, Infrastructure, and Engineering
- Knowledge of relevant leading-edge technologies, trends, and data
- Well-developed solution selling skills in the B2B environment with a proven track record of meeting targets
- Strong commercial acumen, including negotiation and selling skills
- A passion for spatial solutions and technology, with a strong commitment to personal excellence and self-motivation
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in surveying, spatial sciences, geomatics, architecture, engineering, GIS, or computing sciences
- GISP-AP certification highly desirable
- Postgraduate Business and/or Project Management qualifications will be highly regarded
- 5+ years technical or business experience in the GIS/Geospatial industry
- The ideal candidate would preferably have existing sales experience in the GIS/Geospatial industry. Training and mentoring can be provided to candidates who do not meet this criteria
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and clients
- Involvement or desire to participate in appropriate committees and forums in the Australian Geospatial Industry
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Being a key member of the rapidly expanding Woolpert Asia Pacific Sales and Business Development Team
