The Role:

As Crèche Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering a safe, fun, and nurturing experience for the children in our care—while also managing day-to-day operations, compliance, and team performance.

This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and rosters effectively, handle customer service issues, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise children and ensure a safe welcoming environment
  • Manage check-in/check-out processes and uphold policies and procedures
  • Train and support crèche staff to deliver exceptional care and service
  • Handle staffing, rostering, and shift management
  • Lead team meetings and present updates during regular catch-ups
  • Monitor and manage team performance, providing feedback and support as needed
  • Address customer concerns and escalations professionally
  • Maintain crèche cleanliness and oversee maintenance and repairs
  • Ensure compliance with all childcare regulations and staff qualifications
  • Complete incident reports and maintain documentation
  • Develop and implement crèche policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar childcare or crèche management role
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • A passion for health, fitness, and creating positive experiences
  • Proven ability to manage teams and rosters effectively
  • Experience with customer service and handling escalations
  • Knowledge of childcare compliance, incident protocols, and duty of care
  • Reliable, well-presented, and highly organized
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification
  • Current Blue Card Working with Children Check
  • Availability to work flexible hours aligned with gym operations
