As a Second in Charge (2IC) at our program in Highgate, you'll be a positive role model for the children, creating unforgettable moments while actively shaping the program's daily activities, whilst also assisting the Centre Manager.

About the Role:

Creative Freedom – Help assist the Centre Manager in taking charge of the program with endless opportunities for creativity.

Safe Environment – Ensure a safe, supportive space for the children.

Budget Management – Assist the Manager in managing the termly budget to plan and run engaging activities.

Administrative Duties – Handle observations, compliance checks, and staff rostering.

Leading The Team - Help run team meetings, encourage and facilitate educator growth

Planning Fun Activities – Run games, crafts, arts, sports, cooking activities, and more

Community Connections – Build relationships with children, families, and schools.

Permanent position, Contact hours at a minimum, anything else negotiable for the right candidate

About You:

Experience as a Coordinator or 2IC in Before and After School care (essential)

Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework.

Cert 3 or higher in Children's Services or Education Support (ACECQA approved).

First Aid in an Education and Care Setting.

A valid WA Working with Children Check (Employee).

Department of Education Police Check (within the last 6 months or willingness to obtain).

Right to work in Australia.
