Payroll Operations Specialist

The Payroll Coordinator is a key position responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate maintenance of payroll and employee data through manual processing. This role plays a critical part in delivering business-critical payroll services.
This position supports the day-to-day operations of the Payroll function, ensuring consistency and optimum service levels are maintained. The Payroll Coordinator will assist with the administration of the payroll system and core HRIS functionality.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the delivery of payroll-related payments, including superannuation and taxes.
- Interpret relevant employment, taxation, and payroll legislation.
- Generate reports from HR and Payroll systems for data integrity checks and investigations.
- Essential end-to-end payroll processing experience in a medium-sized organisation - manual processing experience required.
- High-level understanding of current Australian Employment legislation, payroll legislation, and best practices.
- Strong technical knowledge in data entry with a high degree of accuracy, tax regulations, and payroll software.
