About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lifestyle Support Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: assisting with showering, dressing, medication, and continence care
  • Domestic assistance: meal preparation, laundry, light household cleaning
  • Social Support/Transportation: travelling to medical appointments, community access, and providing companionship
  • Assisting with aids: frames, wheelchairs, hoists, slide sheets, hearing aids, etc
  • Monitoring the overall wellbeing of clients, recognising and reporting change with a client appropriately

Requirements:

  • A passion in caring and supporting people to live their best lives
  • Always respectful and polite while upholding professional boundaries of being friendly and not friends
  • Current driver license and your own insured vehicle – travel is a part of the role
  • Completed a Certificate III in Aged, Community or Disability or are willing to obtain
  • Covid-19 Vaccinated
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening/Yellow Card – or –
  • Current National Police Check and be willing to obtain NDIS Worker Screening
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion
