This is an opportunity to make a significant contribution to the safeguarding of children. As Child Safety Risk Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that child safety policies are effectively implemented across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough risk assessments on sites with relevant stakeholders to evaluate potential harm and recommend control measures.
- Review and inform child safety risk assessments in collaboration with subject matter experts across various departments.
- Develop educational materials to support the implementation of child safety risk assessments within programs and service delivery functions.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure effective risk management and compliance with child safety legislation.
- Proven experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating child safety risk assessments.
- Extensive leadership experience in establishing risk assessments involving vulnerable children and young people.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Knowledge of risk systems and proven success in end-to-end risk management with assurance processes.
- Qualifications in compliance and risk, quality management, or related fields are preferred, or equivalent experience.
