Job Overview

The role of Heavy Diesel Fitter is a crucial position in our workshop, requiring a high level of technical expertise and hands-on experience.

  • Major overhauls on heavy earth moving machinery are a key responsibility, involving the diagnosis and repair of complex systems.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

  • A Heavy Diesel Trade Certificate, demonstrating their knowledge and skills in diesel engine technology.
  • Post-trade experience working on mobile plant, including excavators, dump trucks, dozers, and graders, is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in hydraulic diagnostics and electrical diagnostics, including knowledge of Caterpillar SIS 2.0 and ET, is essential.
  • Experience with machine operation, maintenance, and repair is also desirable.
