We're looking for a hands-on and customer-focused Field Service Mechanic to maintain and repair a wide range of diesel, petrol, and electric-powered equipment, on-site and in-branch.What you'll do:Carry out on-site servicing, repairs and maintenance across a range of mobile plant and equipment, specifically pumps & generatorsDiagnose mechanical and electrical faults, dismantle and repair engines, hydraulics and morePerform scheduled maintenance in line with safety and environmental standardsEnsure all equipment is "Ready for Hire" and up to Kennards' Quality Operational Management standardsRepresent the Kennards Hire brand with professionalism and pride during customer interactionsAbout youQualified tradesperson (Diesel Mechanic, Fitter, Light Vehicle Mechanic, Small Engine Mechanic or similar)Ideally, you'll have experience working on pumps and generators, and servicing petrol, diesel, and electric-powered equipmentMinimum 3 years' hands-on experience in a mechanical service or field service environmentExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a teamConfident using digital tools (email, mobile devices)Valid driver's licence and physically fit for field workStrong communication and time management skillWhy Join the Kennards Hire Family?
