Agribusiness Development Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Agribusiness advisor to leverage extensive and favourable relationships in regional Queensland with our customers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and growing significant complex portfolios, comfortable driving business origination across diverse customer sectors, and a strong understanding of agribusiness.

About the Role

As an Agribusiness Development Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, gaining an in-depth understanding of their individual needs, and identifying new opportunities to drive business growth.

  • You will work closely with clients to develop and implement tailored solutions that meet their unique needs.
  • Collaborate with product specialists to deliver a broad range of financial solutions.
  • Drive strategy and deal execution, structuring and negotiation of financial solutions while owning proactive risk management responsibilities.

This role involves managing a significant and richly diverse portfolio consisting of grain, cattle, dairy and cotton producers. You will be responsible for these operations across Queensland.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong commercial acumen with experience in managing and growing significant complex portfolios.
  • Comfortable driving business origination across diverse customer sectors.
  • Extensive Agribusiness experience in a range of sectors with sound regional professional networks.
  • Tenacious, resilient, confident and self-starters with qualifications in commerce, finance or a related field advantageous.
