Job Description:

Seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Agriculture teacher to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis commencing Term 1 2026. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of agricultural practices and be able to develop engaging lesson plans for students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lessons in agriculture, incorporating hands-on activities and theoretical knowledge.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting student well-being and academic success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to the development of the school's Educational Charter.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Education, Agricultural Science, or a related field, along with NSW teacher accreditation or the ability to obtain it.
  • Proven experience in teaching agriculture or a related subject, preferably in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong commitment to delivering high-quality education, adhering to the DCS Teaching & Learning Plan.
