As a high-flying Chef de Partie in Brisbane, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a culinary expert.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and bulk cooking of hot and cold meals for Business and Economy Class passengers
  • Manage flight schedules, departures, and delays to ensure timely meal preparation and service
  • Collaborate with Sous and Exec Sous chefs to plan daily menu items and ingredient requirements
  • Maintain strict stock control and minimize food waste
  • Enforce cleaning and hygiene protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, Halal handling procedures, and workplace safety standards
  • Pack airline carts correctly with equipment, dry goods, snacks, and beverages for each flight

About You:

  • Relevant trade qualifications
  • Passion for delivering high-quality food to customers
  • Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy large-scale kitchen
  • Previous experience as a CDP or Supervisor in a commercial kitchen environment preferred
