Electrical Engineering Opportunities

  • As an Electrical Engineer with our organisation, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across the mining, infrastructure and manufacturing sectors.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering design and project management, with experience working on complex electrical systems.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget and to a high standard. They will also be required to maintain excellent relationships with clients and stakeholders, and provide support to colleagues as needed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing electrical systems for new and existing infrastructure projects;
  • Managing projects from initial concept through to completion;
  • Collaborating with other engineers and technical staff to develop and implement project solutions;
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and meets client requirements;
  • Providing support to colleagues as needed.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Relevant (3-7 years) and current Electrical Engineering experience;
  • Design exposure to LV and HV system design and cable sizing;
  • Power systems modelling using software; PTW, eTap and Power Cad 5 experience well regarded;
  • Testing and commissioning experience (FAT, SAT) added value;
  • Experience with engineering works in mining and/or infrastructure and/or Utilities;
  • Exposure to generating study reports, scopes of work, equipment specifications and datasheets added value;
  • Exposure to AutoCAD and/or Micro station drawing packages added value;
  • Ability to deliver projects on time, on budget and to standards;
  • Ability to maintain engineering standards across all designs and projects.
