- You will work closely with brokers to deliver high-quality underwriting services, meeting tight deadlines and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
- We are seeking an experienced underwriter who can build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, communicating effectively through written and verbal means.
- Underwrite commercial property insurance policies, adhering to portfolio guidelines and personal authority.
- Manage a significant portfolio of brokers, focusing on efficient delivery of underwriting services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, promoting successful collaboration and communication.
- Identify and refer complex risks to Lead Underwriters or higher licence holders.
- A minimum 3 years' experience in underwriting, preferably with a focus on ISR and/or Property Underwriting.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the insurance industry and products, with a strong understanding of Risk Management principles.
- Data-driven decision-making and risk assessment skills, enabling effective risk analysis and selection.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, maintaining high standards of professionalism.
- An ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively.
- A proactive approach to resolving issues and addressing challenges.
- A customer-centric mindset, focused on delivering high-quality services.
