We are seeking a skilled Culinary Expert to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Chef in managing the kitchen, ensuring that meals are tailored to meet individual needs and preferences. You will also be responsible for preparing healthy, nutritious, and delicious meals that cater to diverse dietary requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Chef in kitchen management, including meal planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  2. Tailor meals to meet individual needs and preferences, taking into account cultural, spiritual, and social considerations.
  3. Ensure high-quality food standards are maintained at all times.
  4. Collaborate with the broader kitchen team to deliver memorable dining experiences for our residents.

Requirements:

  1. Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (preferred)
  2. Excellent communication and documentation skills
  3. Experience working in a commercial kitchen, preferably in an aged care setting
  4. Familiarity with a broad range of cuisines and dietary requirements
