Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Development Specialist to join our team. As a Project Development Specialist, you will assist in the preparation of project reports, conduct site inspections, and provide administrative support to our senior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of pre-bid and pre-financial close technical advisory reports
  • Conduct site inspections and prepare reports, including photographs
  • Support in the preparation of Realistic Outside Costs Analysis and Reasonable Downside Analysis
  • Attend and participate in multidisciplinary Project kick-off meetings for pre-bid services
  • Attend and participate in lenders and rating agency calls
  • Undertake project research and database entry, as needed
  • Attend meetings and take notes, as needed
  • Work closely with senior team members to determine project changes
  • Undertake project tasks and provide administrative support, as needed
  • Be aware of market intelligence and market rates for construction, as well as different procurement routes and contracts in the marketplace
  • Network and promote the business, cross-sell, and build new contacts and enhance client relationships
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in project development, infrastructure asset planning, or real estate consulting
  • University degree or equivalent in Construction Project Management, Civil Engineering, Finance, or related field
  • Working towards a relevant professional qualification, such as PQS, MRICS, P.Eng, or PMP, is an asset
  • Beginner's experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Good analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with good organizational, communication, and report writing skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and work on own initiatives
  • Demonstrates attention to detail to produce quality work with good time management
  • Hold a valid driver's license
  • Eligible to work in Canada or pursuing a work permit
