Project Manager Opportunity

 

A Project Director is required to oversee the overall management of the QLD new build business and team members. The ideal candidate will maintain an enjoyable work environment while developing team members and processes.

The role involves overseeing and taking ownership with the bid teams to best position the business to win projects and delivery teams to ensure performance across all projects. Creating and managing short and long-term financial goals for the business, reviewing and managing budgets accordingly with your teams.

Key responsibilities include continual project reviews to identify and improve delivery for clients and find opportunities beneficial to the business. Additionally, creating processes or training to further develop teams and ability to facilitate or empower your leadership team to deliver accordingly.

Experience directly managing a team of Project Managers in a commercial construction business is essential. A stable track record in similar management roles (construction manager / Senior Project Manager / Project Director) and a trade or tertiary qualification in construction are also necessary.

Strong software skills and experience both finding and developing talent are crucial. An enthusiastic personality and genuine desire to lead a team with a positive approach to management are also key requirements.
