Job Title: Head of HSE APAC

Vestas is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Service Operations team in the Asia Pacific region. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective HSE strategies to ensure the safety of our employees, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Vestas' global HSE standards.
  • Lead a team of HSE professionals to provide technical support and guidance to our service operations teams across the APAC region.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate HSE risks, and develop strategies to improve safety culture and performance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, industry associations, and clients, to ensure effective communication and collaboration on HSE matters.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to our service operations teams to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and standards.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in HSE management, with a strong background in service operations and risk management.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective HSE strategies and programs.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of HSE regulations and standards, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and effective manner.
