Leadership Opportunity in Early Childhood Education

Are you a passionate and experienced leader in early childhood education looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a dedicated Centre Director to join our team and drive the success of our centre.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of educators and take on a leadership role in shaping the future of early childhood education. As the Centre Director, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, guiding your team, and ensuring the highest standards of education and care are met. You will work closely with families, staff, and the wider community to build strong relationships and create a positive, inclusive environment for children and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of educators to foster collaboration and growth.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including budgets, staffing, and resources.
  • Develop and implement high-quality educational programs aligned with the EYLF and NQS.
  • Oversee individualised learning and development plans for children.
  • Build strong connections with families, staff, and the wider community.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in education and care.
  • Ensure compliance with all child protection, health, safety, and regulatory standards.
About You:
  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher).
  • Minimum 2 years' leadership experience in an early childhood setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • A commitment to creating a positive, inclusive environment for children and staff.
  • Financial and organisational acumen.
  • Experience managing a large long day care centre (100+ places).
  • Additional qualifications in leadership or management.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, WWCC, and Police Check.
