This is a temporary assignment with potential to extend or convert to permanent. As a Demand Planner, you will play a critical role in driving accurate demand forecasts.


The Opportunity

Accurate demand forecasting is crucial for ensuring optimal availability of core products, new launches, and key promotional materials. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving rolling demand forecasts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, maintaining, and continuously improving rolling demand forecasts.
  • Capturing market insights and collaborating with the Sales and Marketing team.
  • Leading monthly Demand Review process.
  • Price modeling using SAP IBP.
  • PLCM management: Managing demand planning for product lifecycle events including launches, phase-ins, phase-outs, and discontinuations.
  • POS management: Analyzing point-of-sale (POS) data and market trends to adjust forecasts and identify demand patterns.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Key qualifications include:

  • 3-5+ years of Demand Planning experience within FMCG, retail, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or a dynamic supply chain environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
  • Proven track record of managing demand forecasts for complex product portfolios.
  • Strong proficiency in demand planning systems (SAP IBP ideally) and ERP systems (SAP ideally).
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, Pivot Tables, etc.); Power BI experience is a plus.
  • Experience with statistical forecasting methods and tools.
  • Data-driven mindset: Analytical ability to operate in a complex planning environment and generate actionable insights.
