About the Role

The Research Assistant will contribute to research activities aligned with the University's strategic objectives. As a key member of the research team, you will work collaboratively to achieve project outcomes and milestones.

The Research Fellow will lead independent and/or team research that has a significant impact in their area of specialization, with a focus on expanding knowledge in their relevant discipline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-quality research in one or more of the following areas: design and construction of innovative structures, digital design for free-form architecture, high-performance computation, cloud computing, computer programming, and graphic user interface.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with research students, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Supervise higher degree by research students and contribute to their academic development.

Requirements

  • PhD in a relevant field for Level A appointment, or equivalent experience for Level B appointment.
  • Excellent track record of research outputs and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration.
