Job Title: Accounts Receivable Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated accounts receivable specialist to join our team. As a key member of the Accounts Receivable team, you will contribute to the profitability, growth, and return on investment of the company by working with high-volume large-dollar accounts, reducing outstanding debts, and maintaining accurate customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Resolve queries from customers and the store network via phone calls, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Debt Collection: Identify outstanding accounts, contact customers and stores to investigate reasons for late payments, and provide payment options.
  • Account Maintenance: Act as a focal point for the store network regarding account maintenance, set up, update, and maintain account information on systems.
  • Reconciliations and Receipting: Ensure all key accounts are reconciled, receive payments, and prepare cheques to be banked into the company's account.
  • Teamwork and Leadership: Demonstrate leadership within the team, providing training and support to other team members, and collaborate with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership within a team environment and lead by example.
  • Demonstrated ability to relate with customers, stakeholders, and fellow employees.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, mathematical, and literacy skills.
  • Similar previous experience is desirable.
