About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Director to join our team at Westpac Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our resources, delivery teams, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide strategic direction and guidance to our resources, delivery teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Delivery and Portfolio Reporting: Develop and implement effective delivery and portfolio reporting frameworks to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Transformation and Governance: Lead the development and implementation of transformation and governance strategies to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage and prioritize our portfolio of initiatives to ensure alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and business representatives.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster a culture of open communication and collaboration across the organization to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience working in delivery and/or project management office roles.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of business policies and procedures, as well as experience with project management tools and technologies.
  • Skills: Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams to achieve business objectives.
