Patient Services Assistant

An exciting opportunity has become available within The Royal Children's Hospital for a Patient Services Assistant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to Infection Control guidelines and Cleaning Standard for Victorian Health Facilities.
- Assist with equipment delivery and facilitate patient movement within the hospital.
- Respond promptly to planned and unplanned absenteeism by providing coverage as required.
- Accept calls for shift coverage at short notice, demonstrating flexibility and reliability in meeting the hospital's needs.
- Certificate III in Health Service Assistant (PSA) is essential.
- Previous experience as a PSA is desirable.
- Well-developed communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proven interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to service excellence.
- High attention to detail.
- Willingness to undertake required training.
- Ability to resolve conflict in a professional manner.
- Capability to establish and maintain good working relationships with a diverse team.
- Hardworking, reliable, and punctual.
- Physically fit for manual work.
