Work as a Mechanical Technician

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team at the Tindal RAAF Base in NT.

This role involves performing scheduled maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipment, diagnosing and repairing issues in a breakdown environment, and participating in project work as required on the fuel installation and related assets and equipment.

The Requirements

  • Be trade qualified (mechanical) with relevant post-trade experience
  • Have proven experience working in fixed plant maintenance, ideally fuel services or Oil & Gas
  • Experience working within the defence fuels network or defence industry will be highly regarded
  • Confined space and working at heights tickets will be highly regarded
  • Strong emphasis is placed on safety, and you must be committed to upholding this value
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance
