Job Description:

A Wall and Floor Tiler is responsible for laying various types of tiles on walls and floors, providing both protective and decorative finishes. This role is crucial in the construction sector, contributing to the aesthetic and functional aspects of buildings.

Responsibilities:
  1. Examine plans and specifications to determine the layout and materials needed for each project.
  2. Measure and mark surfaces accurately to ensure precise tile placement.
  3. Prepare wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning surfaces for proper adhesion.
  4. Spread adhesive and set tiles according to design specifications.
  5. Cut and shape tiles using specialized tools to fit edges, corners, and around fixtures.
  6. Ensure correct alignment and spacing of tiles for a professional finish.
  7. Apply grout and clean excess for a neat appearance.
  8. Lay floors made of granolithic, terrazzo, cement, or similar compositions.
  9. Create mosaics by laying colored tiles in patterns to add unique design elements.
