Job Overview

Wall and Floor Tilers play a crucial role in bringing spaces to life with their craftsmanship. In this rewarding position, you will measure, cut, and install tiles according to design plans.

  • Determine the necessary materials based on a thorough examination of the area to be covered.
  • Apply waterproofing treatments as needed to ensure a durable finish.
  • Mix and apply tile adhesives, carefully positioning the tile and pressing or tapping it into place using a trowel handle.
  • Install tiles efficiently in designated areas while maintaining precise alignment and adherence to design specifications.
  • Expertly determine and execute the best layout to achieve visually appealing patterns.
  • Utilize precision tools such as levels, squares, and straightedges to accurately align and straighten tile.

Certification Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling is a must.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in wall and floor tiling is highly desirable.
