Job Title:

Childcare Support Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and caring Childcare Support Worker to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality care and education to children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for assigned children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and cognitive needs are met.
  • Maintain a high standard of care for the group of children, working closely with other team members.
  • Establish positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, promoting a nurturing environment that fosters growth and learning.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Community Services (Children's Services) or equivalent as specified in relevant legislation.
  • Current Working with Children Check clearance valid for paid work.
  • Completion of Child Protection Course - Identify and respond to children and young people at risk of harm.
  • HLTAID009 Provide CPR certification and HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting or Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training certificate.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A minimum of 12 months relevant work experience.
  • Current class C driver's licence.
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation/regulations.
