Child Care Professional

This role involves working in a dynamic and caring environment, dedicated to creating a nurturing space for children to grow and learn.

The Opportunity

We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Child Care Professionals to contribute to the well-being and development of the children in our care. This position is responsible for planning and implementing a program of developmentally appropriate activities, maintaining high standards of care and consulting with colleagues as needed.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • Diploma in Community Services (Children's Services) or equivalent qualification specified by relevant legislation
  • Completion of Child Protection Course - Identify and respond to children and young people at risk of harm
  • Current certificate in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
  • Current certificate in First Aid in an education and care setting or Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training certificate meeting requirements of relevant legislation
  • Working with Children Check clearance valid for paid work.
Desirable
  • A minimum of 12 months relevant work experience
  • Current class C driver's license
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations
