Family Support and Leadership Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking a Family Support and Leadership Specialist to join our team in Wadeye. This rewarding role involves providing assertive case management, education, and support to participants to achieve program objectives. You will work closely with local support workers, outreach service delivery teams, and other stakeholders to implement and facilitate program activities and experiences that support families and children.

- Develop and maintain relationships with community members, organizations, and agencies to ensure effective service delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant qualifications in Social Work, Community Development, Early Childhood, or Psychology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build respectful relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Demonstrated experience in applying early intervention and prevention activities that support the wellbeing of children, young people, and families.
- Able to network effectively with other agencies to support a community approach to wellbeing.
This role offers a range of benefits, including:
- An estimated annual salary of $95,000 - $115,000 based on location and experience.
- Six weeks annual leave plus two weeks personal leave.
- Salary packaging option (up to an additional $15,900 p/a).

This role is based in Wadeye, a remote community in the Northern Territory. We offer relocation support to help you settle into your new home.
