Neuro Spinal Theatre Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nurse to join our Neuro Spinal theatre team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, supporting 19 operating theatres and delivering exceptional patient care.
This role requires a registered nurse with at least 3-4 years' experience as a scrub/scout nurse in Neuro/Spinal surgery. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, be able to work effectively in a team, and demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
The successful candidate will be required to assist in Neuro/Spinal surgeries as a scrub/scout nurse, support patient care in the perioperative setting, and participate in on-call rosters. They will also be expected to demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity, and compassion in their daily work.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- AHPRA registration
- 3-4 years' experience as a scrub/scout nurse in Neuro/Spinal surgery
- Experience in Neuro surgeries (craniotomies, spinal fusions, and interventional neuro procedures) is highly desirable

This is a full-time position working a mix of morning and evening shifts, with no night shifts required. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative and supportive team, working under the guidance of our Nurse Unit Manager – Operating Suite.
