Neuro Spinal Nurse Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Neuro Scrub/Scout Nurse. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a highly skilled perioperative team that supports 19 operating theatres.

About the Role

This role involves working closely with our Nurse Unit Manager – Operating Suite and colleagues who value teamwork and clinical excellence. As a Neuro Scrub/Scout Nurse, you will be responsible for assisting surgeons during neuro spinal surgeries, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for delivering exceptional patient-centered care, with excellent communication and critical thinking skills. A current AHPRA registration and experience in neuro spinal surgery are essential requirements for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in neuro spinal surgery, particularly craniotomies, spinal fusions, and interventional neuro procedures (Biplane)
  • Flexibility to work across a mix of morning and evening shifts, with no night shifts
