Occupational Rehabilitation Consultant

In this diverse and challenging role, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong team of driven healthcare professionals. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will be responsible for providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological. Your goal will be to support them in achieving return to health and return to work outcomes.
This exciting opportunity stands out due to the flexibility and autonomy it offers. You will have the freedom to manage your own day while still having the backing and resources of a global corporate infrastructure. One of the unique aspects of this role is the exposure you will get to delivering IPAR's innovative services, including our pain education Re-thinking Recovery program. This program uses virtual reality and modern pain science to help individuals understand pain and re-train their brain and body.
Your duties will include case management, applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes, working with employers and employees to develop injury prevention and workplace education programs, collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals, completing assessments using your clinical and discipline-specific skills, and delivering our innovative virtual reality pain education program.
You'll need to possess a tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology, registration with ESSA, and SIRA accreditation. Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation would be highly regarded. Strong communication skills are essential, as is compassion, kindness, and empathy. Well-developed time management skills are also a must. A current NSW Driver's License and access to a car with comprehensive insurance are required.
