Job Overview

This exciting opportunity is for a skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our Parramatta NSW team. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical professionals, and allied health specialists to achieve return-to-work outcomes.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert case management services to clients with workplace injuries or conditions;
  • Developing and implementing injury prevention programs for employers;
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to support treatment plans and address psychosocial barriers to employment;
  • Conducting assessments to review diagnosis, identify suitable employment opportunities, and provide vocational support.

You will have the autonomy to manage your own day, with the support of a strong team and access to resources. This role offers the perfect blend of clinical expertise, interpersonal skills, and business acumen.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy;
  • Registration with AHPRA or ESSA, plus SIRA Accreditation;
  • Previous experience working in occupational rehabilitation, highly regarded;
  • Fabulous communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy;
  • Strong time management skills;
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
