About the role:
- This is an exciting opportunity to work in a national purpose-driven organisation that is a symbol of hope and an essential vehicle for action for many victims and survivors of child sexual abuse.
- The chance to shape internal foundations and enable an organisation to deliver on its mission and demonstrate impact to funders, partners, and survivors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate the organisation's strategic plan into detailed operational work plans and frameworks; ensuring clear accountability and alignment across teams.
- Support engagement with external stakeholders, including funders, regulators, academic institutions, service providers, and Lived Experience victims and survivors; ensuring respectful, professional, and trauma-informed responses in all interactions.
- Coordinate organisation-wide reporting on strategic priorities, KPIs, and impact; ensuring data integrity, relevance, alignment with regulatory requirements, and efficiency.
- Manage and drive internal planning cycles, performance reviews, and strategic alignment activities to ensure cohesive progress against organisational goals.
- Coordinate operational organisational reporting, including complex compliance and outcomes reporting to funders, the Board, and other relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- You hold relevant tertiary qualifications in business administration, public policy, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- You have demonstrated experience in operations management, strategic planning, and government reporting; ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
- You have a deep understanding of compliance frameworks, funding agreements, and regulatory requirements.
- You possess strong stakeholder management skills and understand the importance of tailoring communication to suit diverse audiences; including government funders, Board members, Lived Experience survivors, and victims, and other relevant internal and external stakeholders.
What We Offer:
- Join a team of dedicated and compassionate professionals who are deeply committed to creating meaningful change and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Be part of an organisation that genuinely values diversity, inclusion, and trauma-responsiveness, and is committed to elevating the wisdom and expertise of victims and survivors of child sexual abuse.
The Operations Lead leads the operational backbone of the organisation, ensuring robust internal systems, high-quality governance, funder reporting, and compliance with all regulatory and contractual obligations.
