We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Business Partner to join our team at Australian Retirement Trust. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance to business units on data governance and data quality best practices, ensuring alignment with our organizational frameworks.
  • Help mitigate data-related risks and ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks, ensuring seamless adoption across the organization.
  • Lead data literacy initiatives and champion continuous improvement in data culture and maturity levels.
  • Educate stakeholders on data governance principles through workshops, forums, and compliance training.
  • Drive change management initiatives to embed data governance practices and improve data quality.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Data Management frameworks, particularly Data Governance: DAMA, APRA CPG-235.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and frameworks.
  • Expertise in the data lifecycle and associated development principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work closely with internal and external customers to drive business outcomes.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify key issues and recommend appropriate courses of action.
  • Certification in Data Management (e.g., CDMP) or Information Management (e.g., CIP).
