Role Overview:

We are seeking a coordinator to play a critical role in ensuring design proposals comply with legislative and planning regulations, protecting areas of Heritage and Environmental Significance.

This is a permanent full-time position that requires strong stakeholder communications skills, proficiency in business software, databases, project management systems, and Microsoft Office.

  • Engage and manage external consultants when statutory approvals are required.
  • Issue project legal documents to stakeholders and assess legal and contractual requirements.
  • Liaise regularly with internal and external stakeholders, including Councils and other government bodies.
  • Verify project works for potential environmental, property, and planning impact in line with legal and contractual obligations.
  • Manage client escalations with relevant stakeholders and client project teams as required.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement and communications.
  • Manage project documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct site visits to verify project works and identify potential risks.
  • Respond to client queries and escalate issues as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Background in project management, construction, or environmental disciplines.
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement and community relations.
