We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Wardsperson. In this role, you will be responsible for providing non-clinical support to the nursing team, including patient lifting, transportation, restocking of supplies, and collection and delivery of equipment and specimens.
Key Responsibilities :- Patient Transport: Safely transport patients in beds, trolleys, and wheelchairs, treating them with respect and dignity at all times.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of equipment to meet infection control requirements.
- Courier Service: Deliver internal courier services efficiently.
- Customer Experience: Provide an outstanding customer experience and ensure quality of service.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience working in a patient-related environment.
- Manual Handling: Knowledge of manual handling principles and techniques, and the ability to perform manual handling activities.
- Physical Demands: Ability to cope with the physical demands of constant manual handling.
- Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team as well as independently.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks in an organised manner.
- Roster Flexibility: Flexibility to work a 24/7 rotating roster.
