We're seeking a results-driven Store Manager to deliver exceptional customer service and lead a brilliant team at our Pottery Barn store in Melbourne.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position (76 hours per fortnight) on a rotating 4-week roster. Availability to work full weekends as part of the roster rotation is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and Develop a High-Performance Team: Foster a strong team culture within our People-First environment, focusing on employee engagement, motivation, and growth.
  • Recruit and Select Top Talent: Identify, interview, and select qualified candidates to build a talented pipeline and support business objectives.
  • Lead by Example: Coach, train, and motivate your team through ongoing programs in sales, customer service, and product knowledge development.
  • Drive Sales and Revenue Growth: Ensure the store meets or exceeds sales, contest, and payroll goals while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in Retail Management: Ideally in homewares and/or specialty retail with a proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Results-Oriented Leadership: A passion for empowering teams to achieve outstanding results, making data-driven decisions, and continuously improving processes.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and achieving shared goals.
