A Key Role in Data-Driven Insights
Job DescriptionThe Data and Reporting Specialists are sought after by the organisation to work on economically significant initiatives, utilising data to inform policy, pricing decisions, and market performance strategies.
The team plays a critical role in Scheme expenditure analysis, anomaly detection, and provider dynamics tracking. The specialists contribute to major publications such as the Annual Pricing Review and collaborate across the organisation for consistency and quality in reporting.
This is a key opportunity to develop your skills in analytical work including data advisory, analysis, management and reporting. You will work collaboratively to support complex policy and market monitoring initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop scalable statistical models
- Execute data collection and presentation strategies
- Deliver regular and ad hoc reports to inform policy and pricing decisions
- Maintain dashboards tracking market performance and pricing trends
- Engage with stakeholders to support project delivery
- Participate in data forums and contribute to data transformation initiatives
Strong quantitative and analytical skills are essential for this role. Experience working with large datasets and data warehouses is also crucial. Proficiency in R, Python, Excel, SAS/SQL is required. Ability to communicate complex data to non-technical audiences is vital.
The ideal candidate should be a collaborative team player with independent problem-solving ability and strong stakeholder engagement experience. Desirable qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or related field and experience in statistical modelling and forecasting.
