The Finance Officer will be responsible for booking and managing travel and accommodation for clients fleeing domestic violence, supporting payroll operations, and performing financial checks and reconciliations. Additionally, the role will involve assisting with reporting and compliance as required by program and funding bodies.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in finance or bookkeeping, and a high level of integrity and attention to detail. You should be able to operate reliably and learn new systems quickly. Experience within an Aboriginal Medical Service or similar community health setting is highly desirable.
About the Job- Job Type: Full-time
- Location: Broome, WA
- Provide financial support and assistance to clients fleeing domestic violence
- Support payroll operations, including acting as backup for payroll processing
- Perform financial checks and reconciliations
- Assist with reporting and compliance as required by program and funding bodies
- Degree in finance or bookkeeping (or equivalent)
- Experience working in finance or bookkeeping
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Able to operate reliably and learn new systems quickly
- Competitive salary: $80,000 annually
