A Competitive Remuneration Package


The successful candidate will be offered a competitive remuneration package including salary ranging from $120,000 to $160,000 per annum, depending on experience.


Job Description


This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant hands-on project engineering experience to join our technical team.


The role involves working closely with the project team to ensure timely, cost-effective, and fit-for-purpose engineering and construction. You will also be responsible for managing the delivery of subcontractor work packages, participating in hazard and safety reviews, and executing visible safety leadership.


Key Responsibilities



  • Providing detailed engineering input to ensure delivery of works on time and within budget to client satisfaction;
  • Working closely with the project team to ensure timely, cost-effective, and fit-for-purpose engineering and construction;
  • Managing the delivery of subcontractor work packages on time and within budget;
  • Participating in hazard and safety reviews on site and executing visible safety leadership;
  • Providing advice to subcontractors and actively finding solutions to technical or project issues as required, in a timely manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications


The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Civil Engineering, demonstrated Marine and Dredging experience, and strong commitment to safety from design to construction. They will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of Australian Codes and Standards, and critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
