Job Title: Trade Sales Coordinator

Merlin Entertainments is seeking a highly organized and communicative Trade Sales Coordinator to join our ANZ team. As a key member of our sales function, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our trade sales activities and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date trade partner databases to ensure seamless execution of trade activities.
  • Event Support: Organize and support trade shows, events, site inspections, and manage complimentary ticket requests to enhance our trade partner experience.
  • Email Management: Manage the ANZ Trade email with prompt and professional responses to maintain excellent communication with our trade partners.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare monthly APAC reports, track wins, and provide market insights to inform our trade sales strategies.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research and partner analysis as needed to ensure our trade sales efforts are aligned with market trends and partner needs.
  • Project Support: Support various projects across the Asia-Pacific region to drive business growth and success.
  • Trade Partner Management: Review trade partners quarterly to ensure accurate pricing and updated information, and oversee brochure and merchandise distribution to trade partners.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Marketing and Operations on trade briefs and initiatives to ensure alignment and effective execution.
  • Financial Management: Manage ANZ purchase orders and track monthly expenses to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
  • CRM Management: Lead CRM efforts for ANZ, ensuring partner information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Rate Matrix Management: Assist in managing and delivering the Rate Matrix to trade partners to ensure accurate pricing and information.
  • Brand Representation: Represent ANZ Gateway Attractions positively in all engagements to maintain a strong brand reputation.
  • Trade Sales Initiatives: Implement trade sales initiatives focusing on guest experience and operational excellence to drive business growth and success.
Requirements:
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to maintain effective communication with trade partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Industry Experience: Experience or strong interest in a sales role within the travel or tourism industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work autonomously with flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of our trade partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Enthusiasm: Enthusiasm for learning and advancing in sales and marketing to drive business growth and success.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with others to develop strategies that drive business success.
  • Problem-Solving: Approach challenges with creativity and resilience to find solutions that meet the needs of our trade partners and internal stakeholders.
