About the Opportunity


We are seeking an experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Milestones Early Learning Warners Bay, a 100-place centre in Regional NSW.



Job Description


This role offers the chance to play an active part in creating healthy menus for children of all ages. You will be part of a national network of centre cooks who share recipes, questions, ideas, and tips regularly. Additionally, you will have access to the amazing Feed Australia program, which enables cooks to plan, budget, and access healthy menus to support children's growth and development while in childcare.



About You



  • You are an efficient and capable cook with experience in bulk meal preparation, online ordering, stock management, and budget control.
  • You possess a Current Food Safety and Handlers (Health and Community) Certificate and a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (desirable).
  • You have experience working in an early childhood setting and hold a current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) and resuscitation certificate.
  • You are reliable and have access to transportation to and from our centre.
