About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team in the Brisbane CBD. The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service and emergency response
- Guarding, patrolling, and controlling assigned premises
- Ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, clients, and property
- Responding to emergencies, alarm events, and calls for assistance
- Assessing and responding to situations of risk
- Access control and incident report writing
Rostered Hours
Full Time: 3 week roster with varied hours
Part Time: 2 week roster for afternoon shifts - Wednesday to Sunday week 1, Thursday to Sunday week 2
We are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace, welcoming candidates from diverse backgrounds who can demonstrate the following qualifications, experiences, and proficiencies:
- Current Security Licence with Crowd Control, Unarmed, and Monitoring components
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Flexibility to work rotating rosters and willingness to work nights/weekends
- Great communication skills, both verbal and written
- Understanding of SOPs and ability to follow procedures
- Ability to work as part of a team
