Job Summary
We are seeking a Security Officer and Supervisor to provide relief to our regional sites, working in both a Security Officer and Supervisor capacity across various client sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform access control duties, lock and unlock site access points, conduct patrols, and monitor CCTV footage.
- Supervise a team of Security Officers, validate, issue/retrieve, and conduct random checks on ID/access cards.
- Conduct random Drug & Alcohol tests on personnel, respond professionally to customer enquiries, and maintain logs and records of occurrences.
Requirements
- Current QLD Security Licence - Unarmed, Crowd Control, and Monitoring.
- Certificate II in Security Operations.
- Current drivers' licence - open manual licence.
- Current Occupation First Aid certificate - must be willing to obtain.
- MSIC - Maritime Security Identification Card - must be willing to obtain.
- Maritime Security Guard (MSG) qualification - must be willing to obtain.
- QLD 30215 General Construction Industry Safety Induction (White Card) - must be willing to obtain.
- Drug & Alcohol Testing qualification - must be willing to obtain.
- Training and Assessing Qualifications (preferred).
- RIIRIS402D - Carry out the Risk Management Processes (preferred).
- RIIVEH305F - Operate and maintain a four-wheel drive vehicle - MSS Security will fund.
- Intermediate computer skills.
Working Conditions
This is a FIFO (fly-in, fly-out) role departing from Brisbane to various client sites across Queensland. Shared accommodation and meals will be provided for the rotation.
