Job Summary

Opportunity to work in a dynamic postnatal setting with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

We are seeking full-time and part-time midwives to join our team. This role offers a chance to work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional care to women and their families.

You will have the opportunity to work across various units, including the birth unit and special care nursery, on a rotational basis as required.

In this role, you will be supported by an experienced maternity educator who will provide guidance and support for your professional development.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based midwifery care to women and their families
  • Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Ensure patient and staff safety through adherence to policies and procedures
  • Supervise and direct midwifery/nursing team members to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Provide education and support to mothers and their families
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current Midwifery Registration with AHPRA
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Special Care Nursery experience is advantageous
  • Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
