Job Opportunity

We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our production team as Somerville Process Technician. As a valued member, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality products.

Daily Tasks:

  • Rehanging chickens and removing their legs
  • Specialised tasks including washing, eviscerating, and trimming chicken carcasses
  • Checking to ensure chickens organs have been removed
  • Monitoring the eviscerator machine
  • Cleaning of slaughter area
  • Manual handling duties - lifting, pulling, pushing, bending and reaching
  • Identifying and escalating Animal Welfare, Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks

Requirements:

  • Performing repetitive tasks with precision
  • Understanding and following instructions and procedures with accuracy
  • Collaborating effectively within a team environment
  • Communicating clearly both written and verbally
  • Showing commitment, reliability and motivation to achieve goals
  • Responding calmly when faced with obstacles

Important Note:

  • Must NOT have birds or pigs at home due to biosecurity protocols

Training and Support:

Our organization provides comprehensive training for this role, so no prior experience is necessary. You will be working in a supportive team environment where your skills and abilities will be developed and recognized.
